Ruturaj Gaikwad said after the defeat in the match, ‘We wanted to achieve the target as soon as possible. When you are chasing a target of 230 runs, it is not easy against that bowling attack. We took a big risk and the credit goes to him. The wicket was a little soft in the beginning, they started well. Our bowling was not good in the powerplay. It was difficult to stop their opening batsmen. We had a chance to restrict them to less than 200 runs, but we could not do so.
