The peace agreement between America and Iran has been finalized. It was being claimed that under the peace deal, America would provide $300 billion in aid to Iran. Now a big statement from US President Donald Trump has come out on this. He rejected this claim outright. He also announced that Iran had agreed not to possess nuclear weapons.

What did Trump say?

US President Donald Trump wrote in a post on his social media Truth, ‘Iran has agreed not to have nuclear weapons! Also, the news that the US is giving $300 million to Iran is fake news, spread by the Democrats!’

This statement of Trump came after ending the war between America and Iran and announcing the peace deal. A preliminary agreement has been signed to negotiate Iran’s nuclear program and sanctions relief. However, the details of this deal have not been made public yet. Talks are also going on between the two countries on permanent ceasefire.

Vice President JD Vance has also praised Trump’s agreement on Iran not having nuclear weapons. He said Trump’s diplomatic efforts have once again yielded results and confirmed that preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons remains a core plank of the deal.

In a video message shared on the social media platform X, Vance said, ‘The President has been clear from day one that Iran will never possess nuclear weapons. “Once again, President Trump’s peacemaking efforts have benefited the American people, despite countless efforts by those who hate America and President Trump to thwart it.”
