Shahbaz Sharif posted on social media platform He further informed that Iranian President Pezheshkian appreciated Pakistan’s noble efforts for peace in the region and acknowledged the important role played by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir along with the support of friendly countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey.

Shahbaz Sharif talked about standing with Iran
Shehbaz Sharif said that I reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the friendly people of Iran on the tragic loss of precious lives during the current crisis and emphasized that Pakistan will always stand with Iran as a true friend and neighbor.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan said that I express hope that the ongoing peace efforts will soon lead to a permanent agreement. This will open the way for regional stability, prosperity and cooperation. We have agreed to maintain close coordination to achieve lasting peace in the region.
Let us tell you that Pakistan is playing an important role in the peace talks between Pakistan and Iran. A round of talks took place in Islamabad between representatives of America and Iran, which were unsuccessful.
