Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made such a blast in IPL 2026, due to which his name has become popular in the world outside cricket as well. There is going to be an academic study on Vaibhav, who won the Orange Cap of IPL at the age of just 15. According to media reports, IIM Indore is going to conduct an in-depth study on Vaibhav.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 776 runs in IPL 2026. He won the Orange Cap and made the record of hitting most sixes in a season, for this record he also got a Tata Sierra car as a gift. He also made the record of being the fastest Indian to complete 1000 runs in the history of the Indian Premier League. He also won several awards after the season ended.
Many veteran players are also fans of the maturity that Vaibhav has shown at such a young age. Now IIM Indore will study the journey of the 15-year-old player so far. Indian Institute of Management will find out what is Vaibhav’s mindset on the field, how does he maintain discipline, what was the contribution of his family in getting him to this point and how team management strategies have helped him become a better player.
It is said that cricket is worshiped in India, hence when someone becomes a big player, along with it comes popularity, pressure of social media, expectations of fans and fans and glare of media. This also has a different pressure and how Vaibhav deals with all this at the age of only 15, IIM will also take note of this in its study.
Recall that when Ravi Shastri was interviewing Vaibhav after the final of IPL 2026, the Indian player had said that he was feeling nervous. This proves that being under the media’s radar 24 hours a day is no less than a pressure.
