Humans saw this part for the first time
Astronauts have taken pictures of an area called Oriental Basin of the Moon. This is a part of the Moon which till date no human has seen directly with his eyes. Before this, only robotic spacecraft were able to take its pictures. This area is on that side of the Moon, where its near and far side meet. According to scientists, this is one of the newest and largest impact craters of the Moon, whose outer circle extends for about 950 kilometers.

This feat has happened during the Artemis II mission, which has been launched by NASA.
