Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is in the news these days about his upcoming film ‘Bandar’. This film is going to be released in theaters on June 5. While narrating the story of Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Jab We Met’ in Rajat Sharma’s show ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, Bobby Deol told that he was going to work as a lead actor in this film. He himself was going to different production houses and working hard for this film. However, he was thrown out of it, which came as a huge shock to him.
He said, ‘Now that story is over. We are all friends. But at that time I was heartbroken because at that time I needed such a film. I had faith in Imtiaz Ali’s talent from the beginning. When I saw the rough cut of his film ‘Socha Na Tha’, I became a fan of his work. I thought he was a wonderful director and I should work with him.
Bobby has no complaints
Bobby further said, ‘When your market value is not good, no one supports you. It took a lot of time to start the film. The production house to which I showed this film had said that Imtiaz is a very expensive director. But later the same production house made a film with Imtiaz and the same heroine.
Apart from this, Bobby accepted all these things and said, ‘Good things do not always happen in life. When I started working on myself, I decided to turn the pain, anger and disappointment I faced into my strength. I have only learned from them. Now I have no complaints against anyone.

Imtiaz wanted to work with Bobby
At the same time, Imtiaz Ali had also said in a conversation with Lallantop in 2023, ‘I wanted Bobby to do this film, but he was getting offers for other films from big directors. That’s why he was continuously promoting my film. Then I felt that I should not wait any longer. It took me five years to make ‘Socha Na Tha’ and even after that I did not make any film for two years. After this he told Bobby, ‘It would be better if we separate like good friends because if we do not do so, our relationship may be affected.’
Bobby made a comeback in these films
Let us tell you that ‘Jab We Met’ was released in 2007, which proved to be a superhit. From the story of the film to the cast, fans liked everything very much. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor were in lead roles in the film. Talking about Bobby, he has made a great comeback on screen with Animal, Ashram and Bads of Bollywood.
