There may soon be a meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump amid the Iran war. This meeting may take place during the G-7 summit to be held in France next month, when the leaders of both the countries will reach Paris to attend it. This will be the first time between the oil crisis and the war in the Middle East, that PM Modi will hold a meeting with the US President.
According to the report of Axios, the meeting of the two leaders is possible in the month of June. Actually, Donald Trump will attend the meeting of G7 leaders, while France has already said that PM Modi will also come to participate in this conference. In such a situation, it is expected that amidst global turmoil, Trump and Modi can meet in France between June 15-17.
When was the last meeting between Modi and Trump?
The last meeting of US President Trump and PM Modi was in Washington in February 2025. In such a situation, this meeting will take place between the two leaders after 16 months.
