Bihar Account Error News: A surprising case has come to light from Muzaffarpur district of Bihar. The 82 year old man who went here to withdraw his pension was surprised to see approximately Rs 759 crore in his bank account. This strange incident happened with Kameshwar Mishra, a resident of Thatia Siho village of Sakra block.
When Kameshwar, a poet by profession and a beneficiary of the Social Security Pension Scheme, went to a Common Service Center (CSC) on Sunday to withdraw his pension, he saw that it was Rs 759,69,51,951 – i.e. approximately Rs 759 crore. The matter came to light when after withdrawing the pension amount he thought of checking the balance. At that time his disabled son was also with him. The surprise increased further when after checking the son’s account, a balance of similar huge amount was seen in it. The total amount in both the accounts was more than Rs 1,500 crore.
The old man did this thing
Kameshwar Mishra said that he could not understand from where so much money suddenly came into the account. Acting wisely, he contacted the bank and the concerned authorities and requested them to investigate the matter so that if any mistake was made, it could be rectified with immediate effect. However, no official has given any clarification on this yet. However, it is being said that the reason could be a technical glitch in the bank server or a fault in the banking system.
Same thing happened in Gaya district also
A similar case has also come to light from Delha in Gaya district. Here, in a similar manner, Rs 759 crore had come into the account of an e-rickshaw driver Shiv Kumar Patel. In Vaishali and Samastipur districts also, a balance of Rs 740 crore was shown in the accounts of some pensioners.
