Europe is going to add fuel to the fire of Russia-Ukraine war. About a dozen countries, including England and Germany, have announced to provide Ukraine with a large quantity of weapons and other military equipment, including drones, Patriot missiles and cannon balls worth $ 04 billion, or about Rs 36 thousand crores, against Russia. A large quantity of these weapons will be collected from seized properties of Russia.
European countries have announced to provide such a large amount of arms and aid to Ukraine at a time when Ukraine’s drone attack on a major oil refinery in Moscow, the capital of Russia, has shocked the whole world. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who went to participate in the G-7 summit, participated in the Ukraine-Defense Contact Group meeting in Brussels (Belgium) on Friday. This group includes a dozen countries including England and Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain and Norway. During the meeting, the member-countries included in the group announced the assistance to be given to fight Russia.

Many European countries including Germany announced help
Germany announced to provide American Patriot missile (air defense) system worth 220 million dollars, while England announced 1.50 lakh drones. Rest of the European countries announced to donate cannon balls, rockets, radar and other military equipment. During this, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte was also present. Defense ministers of Germany and England also participated in the conference. England’s Defense Minister Dan Jervis said that it has announced to help Ukraine by providing 1.50 lakh drones and radar and air defense systems worth $330 million. This assistance will be provided through the income from Russia’s seized assets. Sweden has also promised to provide drones to Ukraine. Netherlands has announced to provide Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) to Ukraine.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to European countries
During the meeting, Zelensky expressed gratitude to European countries for receiving Patriot missiles and other weapons and asked for additional F-16 fighter jets. Also demanded money for the Ukrainian Army so that the expenses of salaries etc. of the soldiers can be met. Zelensky called for help from all European countries to stop the aggressive policies of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Ukrainian President said that Putin has no intention of stopping the war and all talks of peace are false. All European countries should understand this. But together we (Ukraine and Europe) can stop Putin. Speaking to journalists later, Zelensky said that Putin is afraid of his army returning from the battlefield without victory. But Putin will not win. That’s why Russia continues the war. But this time someone else (Europe) may also be the target.
Russia-Ukraine war continues for 4 years
It has been more than 4 years and the Russia-Ukraine war continues. Many attempts for peace were made but all proved unsuccessful.
