Hema Malini called Sanjeev ‘male chauvinistic’
In an old interview, Hema Malini talked about Sanjeev Kumar and described him as ‘male chauvinistic’, which means male-dominated thinking. Shortly after breaking up with Sanjeev, Hema Malini married Dharmendra in 1980, which remained in the news. At that time Dharmendra was already married to Prakash Kaur and had 4 children. After marriage, Dharmendra also refused to work in the same frame with Sanjeev.
Sanjeev died at 47
After the breakdown of his marriage, Sanjeev never married and remained alone. He died in 1985 at the age of only 47, which was a big loss for the industry. Sanjeev had worked in many memorable films in his career and he is remembered even today. On the other hand, Hema Malini and Dharmendra were also one of the favorite couples of Bollywood. However, on November 2025, at the age of 89, Dharmendra also said goodbye to this world.
