PM Modi said in the post that he is eagerly waiting for the meetings in Evian and Paris. PM Modi, President of France and many other world leaders will attend the G7 summit to be held in Evian. PM Modi said that it was nice to meet you in Nice. This first phase was successful. He further said that India-France partnership will continue to reach new heights.

This comment of Prime Minister Modi came in response to a social media post of French President Macron, in which he had shared a selfie with PM Modi. The President of France wrote in the caption – Nice. Earlier in a post, PM Modi described the French President as his friend and praised the close bilateral relations between the two countries.

Called President Macron his friend
PM Modi said, “I am grateful to my friend President Macron for joining ‘Bharat Innovates’. He said many important things during his speech today. India and France will continue to work together in the matter of technology and innovation.” During the inauguration of ‘India Innovates 2026’ conclave in Nice, PM Modi said that the association between India and France is one of trust, innovation, inspiration and shared vision. During the program, both the leaders hugged each other and shook hands when they met.

The French President also shared a video of this meeting, in which the tremendous bonding between him and PM Modi was seen. The song Aari Aari from the Bollywood film Dhurandhar is heard playing in the background of the video, which has gone viral on social media. In the video, both the leaders are seen greeting each other warmly and walking together.

PM Modi will attend G-7 summit
PM Modi said in the inauguration ceremony that there are some relationships which are based on common thinking and common interests. The relationship between France and India is also similar. There is both connection and trust in this relationship. There is innovation and inspiration and there are shared values ​​and shared thinking. During his current visit, PM Modi will also attend the G-7 Summit, where he will meet US President Trump and other world leaders.
