WHO Warns African Region Ebola Virus Risk: The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued a warning on Friday regarding the Ebola outbreak spreading in South African countries. The organization’s Africa director has said that it would be wrong to underestimate the Ebola outbreak spread in the Democratic Republic of Congo and neighboring Uganda. This outbreak can spread to other countries also. According to Reuters report, the organization’s Africa Director in Geneva, Mohammed Yacoub, has said that underestimating it is a big mistake. There is no vaccine for this virus called Bundibugyo.

Ebola is a deadly disease
Ebola is a serious and deadly disease. It spreads through direct contact with bodily fluids of infected people, contaminated objects and dead bodies of people who have died from infection. Its symptoms include fever, body ache, vomiting and diarrhea. On Thursday, the DRC Health Ministry reported that the outbreak has resulted in 160 suspected deaths out of 670 suspected cases.
