According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of very heavy rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands from 26-29 November.

Winds increase cold in Delhi
Talking about the capital Delhi, the speed of winds has increased during the last 24 hours. The winds which till now were blowing at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour. Now those winds are blowing at a speed of 12 kilometers per hour. Now in Delhi-NCR, despite being sunny during the day, cold is being felt. Talking about the temperature, no major drop has been seen in the last 24 hours, but from today i.e. Wednesday (November 26), a drop in the maximum and minimum temperatures may be seen.

How will the weather be in UP?
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Uttar Pradesh may remain dry for the next one week. Today on Wednesday, the weather is likely to remain clear in the western and eastern parts of the state. During this time, fog may occur at some places in the morning in both parts of the state. The weather is likely to remain dry in western and eastern UP on 27, 28 and 29 November.

There is a continuous change in the minimum temperature of the state. The minimum temperature has started falling in many districts. Minimum temperature of 8 degree Celsius has been recorded in Barabanki and 8 degree Celsius in Kanpur city also. The minimum temperature was recorded at 8.6 degrees Celsius in Bareilly, 9 degrees Celsius in Etawah, 9 degrees Celsius in Muzaffarnagar, 9.1 degrees Celsius in Meerut and 10 degrees Celsius in Azamgarh.

According to meteorologist Atul Singh, there are chances of improvement in temperature after the next 1-2 days. According to the Meteorological Department, at present there is no active weather system in the state. Cold winds blowing from the north-western direction remain the main reason for the fall in temperature.

Constantly changing weather in Madhya Pradesh

Banaras Hindu University meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that in the next 48 hours, a decrease of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius can be seen in the minimum temperature in many districts of UP. The maximum temperature will be around 31 and minimum 18 degrees Celsius. No significant change is expected in the weather today in other districts of UP including Ghaziabad, Mathura, Kanpur, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Aligarh, Rampur, Bareilly.

Chances of snowfall in the mountains
There is a possibility of increase in cold in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Due to this, there will be increase in cold in the plains also. There are chances of snowfall in high altitude areas on Tuesday and Wednesday. Light rain may occur in some parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh districts on 4-5 November. There is a possibility of snowfall in the mountainous areas at an altitude of more than 4000 meters.

There are chances of light rain at one or two places in Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Jalaun, Kannauj, Farrukhabad, Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Bahraich, Shravasti and Balrampur, although no warning has been given in these districts. There are chances of rain in many districts of Eastern UP on Friday also.

Temperature will drop rapidly after 24 hours

There will be a sudden increase of 5-8 degrees Celsius in the maximum temperature in UP in the next 24 hours. After this, the temperature will fall by 3-5 degrees Celsius in the next 24-48 hours and after this the temperature will gradually increase again by 3-5 degrees Celsius. Whereas there will be no major change in the minimum temperature in the next three to four days.

The cyclonic system developing over the Bay of Bengal can turn into a storm within 24 hours. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), it is likely to turn into a severe cyclonic storm ‘Montha’ in the next 48 hours. This storm is currently centered about 620 km from Port Blair and 780 km south-east of Chennai. Due to Montha, there are chances of heavy to very heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and Tamil Nadu from 27 to 30 October.
