Recently, the alleged attack and stone pelting on the institute of famous teacher Khan sir has sparked discussion in the entire state. In this case, the police has arrested Roshan Anand, the director of Gyan Bindu GS Academy, and some of his associates. After this, Roshan Anand has once again come into the limelight.
Created a separate identity after coming out of a farmer family
Roshan Anand was born in an ordinary farmer family in Dhamsena village of Saharsa district of Bihar. The financial condition of the family was not strong, but he dreamed big since childhood. It is said that he left home at the age of just 15 to pursue his career.
After completing his primary studies from a government school, he reached Kota in Rajasthan with the dream of becoming an engineer. On the basis of hard work, he passed the AIEEE exam and got admission in the prestigious BIT Mesra. However, due to financial problems he had to leave his engineering studies midway.
The dream of a government job remained unfulfilled
Then after leaving engineering studies, Roshan Anand started preparing for a government job. After this he prepared for Bihar Police Recruitment Examination and also passed the written examination in the year 2014. But could not pass the physical test.
He prepared for the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination. He reached the interview, but could not make it to the final selection list. Despite continuous failures, he did not give up and decided to make his career in the field of education.

Roshan Anand comes from Yadav community and belongs to Other Backward Class (OBC). Coming from a farmer family of Saharsa, he made his mark in the field of education. His supporters on social media say that starting with limited resources and setting up a big coaching institute is his biggest achievement.

Coaching started with four students
Roshan Anand established ‘Gyan Bindu GS Academy’ in Patna on 1 September 2017. In the beginning he had only four to six students. He took his coaching forward amidst limited resources and economic challenges.
Gradually, he started gaining recognition in preparing for Bihar Police and Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examinations. A large number of students started getting selected from his institute. For this reason, he came to be known as ‘Daroga Guru’ among the students.
Why did Khan Sir’s name come into controversy?
In recent times, Roshan Anand’s name is in discussion due to the controversy related to Khan sir. According to the police, on the night of June 2, there was an alleged attack, stone pelting and poster tearing incident on Khan sir’s institute ‘Khan Global Studio’. During the investigation, the police identified some people on the basis of CCTV footage and other evidence. After this Roshan Anand and his associates were arrested.
