According to reports, the salary of an MP in Italy is considered very high. The MPs there get 11,703 Euros every month, which is equivalent to about Rs 10.47 lakh in Indian Rupees. After deducting the tax, he gets about 5,346.54 euros i.e. about Rs 4.78 lakh. The PM there, Georgia Meloni, gets this much money. Apart from this, they also get separate allowances. A daily allowance of 3,721 euros (about Rs 3.33 lakh) is given for daily expenses. A separate amount of 3,690 euros (about Rs 3.30 lakh) is available for other work.
Not only this, Italian MPs are given 1,200 euros every year for phone and travel expenses. Also, every three months an amount of 3,323 to 3,995 euros is received for transportation and other needs.

How much salary in India?
Now if we talk about India, the Prime Minister gets a salary of Rs 1.66 lakh every month. Along with this, many important facilities are provided, which have been decided keeping in mind the responsibilities of their post. The Prime Minister gets a government residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi without paying rent. This is his official residence, from where he handles the affairs of the country.
The responsibility of security of the Prime Minister rests with the Special Protection Group (SPG). This is considered to be the highest level of security in the country. Government vehicles and a special aircraft fleet are provided to the Prime Minister for his tours within the country and abroad. This includes dedicated aircraft such as ‘Air India One’, which are used for official travel. Even after leaving the post of Prime Minister, he continues to get free accommodation, facilities like electricity and water and SPG protection for five years.
