There is good news for Indian pilgrims wishing to participate in the annual festival organized in Pakistan to mark the martyrdom day of the fifth Sikh Guru Arjun Dev. Pakistan High Commission has issued visas to 737 Indian pilgrims. This information was given in an official statement. The annual festival will be held from June 10 to 19.

The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi made this announcement in a statement issued on Monday (June 8). According to the statement, the Pakistan High Commission has issued visas to 737 pilgrims coming from India to participate in the annual festival to be held in Pakistan from June 10 to 19. The pilgrims will pay obeisance at Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Gurdwara Nankana Sahib and Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib among other pilgrimage sites during this journey.

Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, Secretary of SGPC’s Dharma Prachar Committee, said here on Monday (June 8) that the supreme religious body of the Sikhs has deposited the passports of 561 pilgrims at the Pakistani Embassy in New Delhi. The group of pilgrims will leave from SGPC headquarters on Wednesday. Mathrewal said that pilgrims whose visas have been approved should collect their passports from the SGPC office during office hours on June 9.
