Amit shah on mk stalin in madurai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday (June 8, 2025) targeted the DMK government of Tamil Nadu while giving a speech at the workers’ conference in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. He said that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government will be formed in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal in the year 2026.

Addressing the party officials, Union Home Minister Amit Shah described Madurai as a city of change and said that the BJP worker conference will bring change and Dravida Munnetra Kashagam (DMK) would be evicted from power.

During this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah also targeted Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. He said, “The Chief Minister of the DMK government of the state says that Amit Shah cannot beat DMK, but I say that the people of Tamil Nadu will defeat the DMK. I know the pulse of the public and the people of Tamil Nadu will uproot the DMK government from the state this time.”

He said that in the 2026 assembly elections, BJP-Anadmuk (AIADMK) will form the NDA government in Tamil Nadu and people will beat DMK (DMK) in 2026 elections. Shah said, “The DMK government has failed 100 percent. In 2026, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal will form the NDA government.”

Shah chaired the meeting of the core committee of Tamil Nadu unit of BJP before addressing the state, district and divisional level officials. Before leading the core committee meeting, he offered prayers at the Madurai Meenakshi temple.

During his visit to Tamil Nadu in April, Shah announced the restoration of relations with AIADMK (AIADMK). In his address, BJP state president Nanar Nagendran targeted the DMK rule over law and order and questioned the police about the targeted killings of the elders in the villages of Western Kongu region.

He appealed to the workers to work with determination and termed the alliance with AIADMK as an ‘appropriate alliance’. Tamil Nadu BJP state president described Amit Shah as ‘Iron Man of India, second Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’.

At the same time, BJP leader K.K. Annamalai said that the only goal is to remove the DMK (DMK) from power in the state and he urged the workers to move forward with this resolution. Whereas in Madurai, Amit Shah challenged Chief Minister Stalin to tell whether he has fulfilled the election promises of DMK made in the year 2021.
