Appeal to learn from history
PM Modi warned the opposition and said that lessons should be learned from the history of the last 30 years. He said that even in the past, those who opposed women’s reservation were not forgiven by women in the elections. He said that for him the Constitution is supreme and the strength of this Constitution is that a person coming from an ordinary background can shoulder the highest responsibility of the country.
In the end, the Prime Minister said that if women’s reservation is not implemented this time too, it will be difficult to answer the mothers and sisters of the country, hence all the MPs should not miss this historic opportunity.
