Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha has clearly denied any connection with the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). On this matter, on Thursday (June 4), Manoj Jha said that he had written a recommendation letter to the ‘Constitution Club of India’ for the press conference of CJP. Moreover, he has nothing to do with the movement, which ‘lacks ideological clarity’.
Manoj Jha said that he had written a letter to the Constitution Club officials on Wednesday requesting that Saurabh Das, who is the chief spokesperson of CJP, be provided space for the press conference. CJP’s chief spokesperson Das had gone to Jha for help.

What explanation did Jha give?
After his recommendation letter surfaced on social media and was shared by some BJP leaders, Jha said that as an MP, he often helps civil society organizations and even journalists organize such events.
Jha, a professor at Delhi University (DU), told reporters, “This letter is related to a journalist with whom I was connected through social media. He and some of my senior colleagues at Delhi University told me about a press conference they wanted to organise. That’s all.”
What did CJP say on this?
Das said he had approached Jha because only an MP could make such a recommendation. This controversy has come to light at a time when CJP is planning to protest on June 6 demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. In such a situation, there is a lot of curiosity about whether CJP is getting any political support from the opposition? However, CJP has also rejected all such things.
