The peace agreement between America and Iran is being welcomed by countries around the world amid hopes of peace in West Asia and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. However, Israel, the other party in the war against Iran, does not seem satisfied with this announcement made by US President Donald Trump.

Israeli Defense Minister opposes US-Iran peace deal
The most prominent name among those who reacted against the agreement between America and Iran is Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz. He has said that if Iran attacks Israel because of the ongoing military actions in Lebanon, then Tel Aviv is ready to respond with full force.
Defense Minister Katz also reiterated that Israel will not withdraw its forces from Lebanon, Syria and the Gaza Strip. Addressing a press conference, he said, ‘Maintaining control and security of all areas is one of the biggest achievements of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Therefore, we oppose the withdrawal of the IDF from Lebanon, despite all current and future pressures. Prime Minister Netanyahu has also informed the US President about this decision.
No compromise on security – Ben-Gvir
Trump’s agreement does not bind us. Israel is not a slave to the United States and we are an independent and sovereign country!
The citizens of Israel are free from the Jews and the Jews are persecuted and murdered by the Jews in the last years of the world, giving security to the Jews in Israel.
Every time we succumbed to international pressure on account security…

After the announcement of the agreement, the ministers of the right-wing coalition of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have said that this agreement announced by US President Donald Trump will not apply to Israel. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said in the post, ‘Trump’s agreement does not bind us. Israel is not under America. We are an independent and sovereign country.
He said, ‘We are not party to any agreement that does not ensure our security and it cannot bind us in any way. We must settle for nothing less than the complete destruction of Hezbollah. Furthermore, there should be no retreat from any areas captured and liberated from terrorist infrastructure by our brave warriors.
