On a question related to this, Prashant Kishore on Monday (May 25, 2026) (Prashant Kishor) Gave a big statement. PK was in East Champaran on Monday.
Prashant Kishore was asked whether he would contest elections from Bankipur? On this he said, “Jan Suraj will contest the elections strongly from Bankipur. BJP has not lost elections from Bankipur for the last 40-45 years. Nitin Naveen, who was an MLA, has now become the national president of BJP, so from that point of view, this is a prestigious seat for BJP. If BJP has to be defeated here, then every effort will be made by Jan Suraj to enter into their area and defeat them. Whatever resources and arrangements we have, we will defeat them. Will defeat in Bankipur.” The question was repeated: Will you fight? On this he said that whatever needs to be done will be done. In a way he has given a big signal.

On the question related to petrol and diesel, PK said, “The price of petroleum products has increased because there are no elections right now… then the government will collect the full tax from you and us. Then when the elections come tomorrow, it will be a matter of Arwa-Usna rice, Hindu-Muslim…” PK said that compared to UP, we have been paying five rupees more per liter on petrol and diesel for the last five years. The people here have formed the government by giving 202 seats to the same NDA government which has given 10 rupees more in Bihar, then give 10 rupees more, why are they shouting?
