US President Donald Trump said that his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping’s assessment that America was in decline was 100 percent correct, but his comment was in the context of the tenure of former President Joe Biden.
Trump said in a post on the social media platform Truth Social, ‘When President Xi very politely described America as a nation possibly headed for decline, he was referring to the huge losses we have suffered during the four years of lazy Joe Biden and the Biden administration, and in this matter he was 100 percent right.’
He said that America has suffered huge losses due to open borders, high taxes, transgender policy, male participation in women’s sports, diversity-equality-inclusion (DEI), bad trade agreements, rampant crime and many more.
Trump claimed that America has seen incredible progress in the first 16 months of his administration and cited record stock markets, military successes, a rebounding economy and a booming job market. Trump also praised the military victory in Venezuela and the strengthening of relations with it. He also mentioned the military destruction of Iran.
